Im here to report a login problem.
I have the origin version of Spore, and every time I attempt to create an account using my EA, it says "An unknown error occured during registration." I tried to login to an older account which I currently want to leave behind. I relogged in multiple times, but it still said the same thing. Is there any way I can fix this? If so, how?

I had a similar issue as many others while trying to log into/register a Spore Account: There always was an error message claiming a connection or server issue.
Since I bought the game via Steam, I contacted the Support Live Chat where they put the Spore game into my Origin library.
I tried logging in/registering, neither worked. I reinstalled the game via Origin and the issue persists.
I now bought the Creature Creator after reading here, that it can fix the issue but I now received an "unknown error".
It did not fix anything for me, so I deleted Spore and installed CC to test if I could register through that.
When trying to Log In, the "unknown issue" does not appear and it tells me that I can't connect to the Spore servers, just as before.
When I try to register a new account the "can't connect to the Spore servers" Popup appears, behind it however I can see a text saying that I am already registered.
After deinstalling the Creature Creator aswell and downloading Spore and the two DLCs the same messages get shown.
Login -> "Issue with the server connection"
Register -> "Unknown Error" while showing me "You already are registered"
I can't access the Login for Spore.com via Browser though, I can get to the page itself, but whenever I enter my EA Email and Password the site crashes.
First, I get the error that "spore.com" tried to redirect me too often, after a few seconds the page refreshes and tells me that "accounts.ea.com" tried to redirect me too often.
Deleting Cookies as recommended for the error didn't help, neither did using a different device.
My account might me the issue, maybe the Mail registered without a Spore Name?
