Unable to login to Spore from Steam

I've purchased SPORE and it's DLC through steam and have been unable to find a CDkey or have I been able to login/link my account. I know it's possible as I've seen other people be able to use online functionality recently. I've attached a screenshot of the error that occurs when I try.

    Hi

    Tried to install spore after purchasing from steam. conytacted support (opened a case) and was told in live chat to take a screen shot and open a new live chat to share screen shot of proof of purchase. Problem is i cannot open a new live chat. all i can do is reopen my old case and i have no way of finding out when this will be resolved.

    @za1xmu6cakct i am having the same issue only difference is the advisor that contacted me closed the case because I took to long to respond
