Unable to Recover EA Account or Game Progress

I’m reaching out to the EA community and support team because I’ve hit a wall with account recovery for Battlefield 6 on Xbox Series X.

My issue is simple:
My EA account was registered with an email that was deleted and can’t be restored ([edit: email address removed]). As a result, I can’t receive authentication codes, reset the password, or verify my account—even though my main Xbox gamertag (samstoof#1116) has all my game progress.

What’s frustrating is that EA support refuses to offer alternatives. My only option, according to them, is to link samstoof#1116 to a brand new EA account ([edit: email address removed]), which wipes out all existing progress and forces me to start over. They won’t escalate, do a manual verification, or use my Xbox identity—just a hard no if I can’t access the old email.

I have provided all the proof and information I can—ownership, identity, past purchase records, even my Xbox account details. Nothing works. Apparently, flexibility and customer care are totally absent from EA’s account system. Losing years of progress due to a technicality feels unfair and discouraging, especially after investing hundreds of hours into the game.

Has anyone found a workaround, been able to escalate, or received help from higher-level EA staff for a similar problem?
Can EA offer any real solution for cases where the original email is truly inaccessible?

Any help, advice, or stories would be appreciated. EA needs to do better for genuine fans who get locked out by email issues.

    Hi there. Unfortunately, we can't help with account related issues over the EA Forums. You'll need to contact an advisor again. As long as they can verify you own the account, they should be able to update the email address. Cases can be opened by using the 'Contact us' button at the bottom of this page.
