Beat Rick Scott in Career Open Wheel races object is not tracked

Same issue... any research brought me here

It's not tracking for me either. Mine's stuck on 0 and it's currently impossible to complete it.

I intentionally waited a couple months to buy this because codemaster games tend to be a buggy mess at release. But it sounds like their patches are making it even worse. I have this exact same issue after multiple attempts. I'm playing on pc.

Whoever's job it is to handle the checkboxes needs to consider flipping burgers. Can't be that complicated and it's totally fouled up. I've had so many UI elements messed up, things not counting, things counting backwards... BACKWARDS!

Yep, game's progression is completely broken since the latest patch, so thats almost two weeks of having one of the main game modes unplayable. In the meantime EA/Codemasters have given zero feedback to all the reports of this bug. I think we can already see the effects EA acquisition. I for one will never again buy anything from Codies at full price, if at all.

I have the same issue on Xbox Series X.

FINAL EDIT: THIS GAME IS COMPLETELY RUINED!
So i completed all contracts yesterday, came on today to some hard events . . ALL MY EVENT'S PROGRESS JUST RESET TO 0%, every single one!
I was 7/10 events complete in pro, AND the uncompleted were all nearly done. 

Ignore everything below, do not bother with this game!

Shame, I was enjoying it, not playing that again!




I have been reading how these things are supposed to be bugged and not working. 
So here is a heads up from q4 2022, since the game is now on gamepass. 
I have all but Distort sponsors complete. I thought after reading these the Rick Scott part was bugged. It is not, I just knocked off 1/4. 
You can not do it in rookie races, it is the upgraded atom race.

The only really bad bug, is the tracking stopped on rookie and semi pro, saying i have not done some events. Tracking has been working since pro unlocked though. I think re-doing those events logs them again, but it is annoying.. 
That's all. 

Edit: Rick Scott moves around, he was no longer in above, but in the f1000 finale time attack. Start a open wheel event, and check the names at start, if he is not there, exit and try another. 

It is still bugged for me and many others.  Just because it worked for you does not make it fixed.  Maybe you got lucky, some people have.  Otherwise this trash box of a game is still full of bugs, sadly.

... And for me. I am doing one final edit!

SOLVED: it looks like the only races the include Rick scott are the career semi pro F1000 open wheel races.
