Dirt 5 - Weak audio during offline multiplayer

Hello,

I am creating a topic to discuss the constant sound incident in arcade offline multiplayer. To address the issue, I created an official case with EA support under the number 198833294. We tried checking the PS5 sound settings but had no results, so it appears that this is not something that can be fixed on the player's end.

Press the PS button on your DualSense controller to access the Control Center.

Select "Sound" from the Control Center menu.

Adjust the Audio Output settings to choose your preferred audio device (e.g., TV speakers, headphones, or AV system).

Go to "Volume" to adjust the volume levels for headphones or controller speakers.

• It's not an isolated incidence, other players throughout the world are experiencing it.

• The issue is easy to reproduce

Make sure Player 2 joins on the main menu -> Arcade mode -> Free Play  -> Select any track, then start event -> As soon as the race starts, the sound just drops dramatically! Almost no sound, after the race, when you go back to the main menu, sound goes back to normal level.

It seems to occurs only with TV speakers and not headphone, occurrence is systematic with TV speakers.

• It's definitely a glitch/bug

I would like to ask a few of questions please:

Is the dev team aware of it? Was there any communication about that issue? Is there any patch coming soon by any chance?

DIRT 5 is a great game, but the sound dropping down in offline multiplayer severely tarnish the experience.
