BTW, this is not related to the shutdown of the Codemasters racenet servers, since this game runs on EA racenet. Even after the online features of Dirt Rally 1 sadly got terminated, Dirt Rally 2.0 online features worked fine. It's only since the last maintenance that it has stopped working.
This game has a significant active player base (I saw 2400+ players on a weekly at the time that rewards worked). If this is some way to reduce/kill the player base to give some excuse to kill the game outright, it's a really scummy move.
