Oh no no , I'm talking about the oculus platform , there is no update I'm on version 1.0.0.37 , this what I mean, they comoletly forget that they have the vr edition for oculus , let me ask you , under permissions on the pc version , what permissions did yall have to give, cause on mine on oculus it says no permissions needed and I'm not sure if it's suppose to be lile that

Hehe yes the graphics are only for hard gamers. But I really enjoy it. I like that you can start it very quickly and drive a lap, and don't have to set up a PC with a steering wheel first, etc. But that you could only play online for 1 month is not ok! I’m wondering if there’s any files on our Quest 2 that we need to delete after uninstalling it, so it thinks it’s a fresh install and then can select to link it to our EA account on “first” start up.
So annoying, as I only got this to play online with others, as I completed story mode on ps5 and put hours into it on my ps5. - @Bloodangelz It’s just weird how some can play online with Quest 2, and others can’t.
I would’ve thought was an all can, or all can’t …… not a some can and some can’t.

Btw, isn't it marvelous how the Quest port has Progress Reset and New Save File and they do the exact same thing? There's no extra slot for another save file. What a pathetic piece of crap. I'm not resetting my progress just to see if I can get multiplayer back.
And yes, graphics are not so awful as most VR fanboys are saying, but yet it could be much better. TOCA 2 almost 20 years ago and Real Racing 2 mobile over 10 years ago have metal and asphalt shine and shadow casting - and those make a huge difference in feeling. As is, GL on Quest has 90s grade static shading and this is really unacceptable today. - @n0ufxsm0vs26 You may not have to reset progress to get multiplayer to work though.

How come multiplayer was working until recently, and then suddenly stopped!? Why don’t they just put it back to how it was before it stopped working… remove last update they did.
If there’s been no update for the Quest 2 GRID, how come multiplayer was working and then stopped? ☹️
It’s obvious they broke something when changing something, so just change it back until fix the problem with whatever it was that broke the multiplayer They probably just shut down the server.
EA should better not leave it like that, because after only 1 month no more online play (which is stated in the description), would be fraud...

I doubt they shut down servers, as it’s a newly released game (last month), and all platforms had same problem, until it was patched. - @Bloodangelz it's finally working great! Thank you for the fix and extra graphical options on Meta Quest, codies!
I put the resolution up to 100%, looks better…. Put it to 125%, but can’t tell any difference between that and 100%.
the refresh rate is on 72… will it help putting it up to 120?
also a race related question…. Do your upgraded cars carry over to the online races… or everyone get given a standard, non upgraded car?
It depends on the hosts settings I believe if he has upgrades on then yes if it's off then its the stock version , right ?
I don't know, I still had everything on standard for the quest, so it worked automatically. Maybe you didn't have enough free memory for the update? I still had over 10GB free, so I had no problems there. Maybe you just didn't have enough space? How did you all adjust your graphics so that it still runs well? I'm currently running 100% graphics, 60 fps and no reflections. That only seems too much when it rains, otherwise it works. How did you set it?
