Same here, it has been down since yesterday, no info to be found anywhere for what's causing it or a heads up from EA saying at least something about it. Tried what I could think of to get back online, it was quite a busy day doing that, and inbetween trying to get back online, it's not a neat thing to do by EA to not say anything up until now. Other games I have from EA seem fine.

I've searched Google, this is what I got from typing the following:
''EA server for grid legends won't connect 2026''
AI Overview
Based on reports from February 2026,
many users are experiencing issues with GRID Legends failing to connect to EA servers, particularly on Xbox and PC. Players are encountering errors such as "Unable to connect to EA servers" and "Network Error - Failed to create session," preventing online multiplayer, even though single-player modes usually remain functional.

Current Status and Known Issues (Feb 2026):
Widespread Outage: Multiple users on Xbox Series S, PlayStation, and Steam are reporting being unable to log in, often getting stuck on the "Initializing online services" screen.
"Network Error" on Console: Some Xbox users are able to log in but receive "Network Error - Failed to create session" when attempting to start a career game.

Troubleshooting Steps for GRID Legends (2026):
Check Server Status: Verify if the issue is widespread by checking the official EA Help page.
Power Cycle (Console): Turn off your console, unplug it for at least one minute, then plug it back in to clear the cache.
Restart Router: Unplug your internet router, wait a minute, and plug it back in.
Verify Account Link: Ensure your console or Steam account is correctly linked to your EA Account.
Use Wired Connection: If possible, connect your console/PC directly to the router via Ethernet for a more stable connection.

Note: While some older Codemasters titles (GRID 2019, DIRT) are scheduled for server closures in 2026, GRID Legends is still intended to be supported, and these issues appear to be temporary server disruptions rather than a final shutdown.

It's crazy that there have been no comments on EAhelp on X about it. I tweeted @them but no response.

All the games receiving server maintenance were down less than 24 hrs. It's strange no official word.
