Codemasters TeamDon't have an ETA for a patch yet but the team are working on a fix as we speak!
So what is happening with that fix that is just not coming... please give us an update about this since it is not acceptable that the G920 is officially supported, but NOT working! This should be highest priority to be fixed, since it is a BROKEN feature for all the XBox fans with G920 wheels, of which there are quite a few, I am sure.

I'm happy to confirm that we have fixed the issue and is scheduled to be added into the next patch. I don't have a date for the patch yet but as soon as I do, I'll update you.
In the meantime, please continue to keep the Shifter detached so that you're able to use the face buttons on the wheel.Will you be fixing the problem with the Fanatec wheel also having the same issue
Having the ablitiy to use the shifter and steering wheel should be it's OWN PATCH and not be dependent on fixing anything else. Without the shifter and wheel working, what's the point of playing your game? Somebody there needs to find their way back to reality and make this patch available right away.
- @CM_TGK Can you give us loyal gamers any kind of window at least as to when a quick patch may be released. Numerous games I have on steam update often and quickly... Especially for a hotfix like this. Even more so since you have already fixed the problem? I love your products with my wheel, but will not play then without. I'm a huge codemasters fan, they are the reason I bought a sim setup. Please patch this quickly.
Just chiming in to say I'm having the same problem. I just installed the demo today and was ready to buy the deluxe version today, but it's a complete non-starter with broken wheel support.
I may just forget about this and go back to GRID 2019. No point having such a hopelessly broken game soaking up valuable space on the Xbox.
Edit: And no, disconnecting the shifter isn't a reasonable solution. I like to use the shifter in other games and my wheel is bolted to a stand. I'm not going to go around removing / reinstalling my wheel constantly to play a game that was released with major input bugs.
