Lost all my carreer and sponsor progress

This happened to me today on PS5, did a race in the Gauntlet, came out after failing the drift challenge and all my results for the career mode were zeroed. I don't think I have the time or inclination to go through all of this again. My backup saved on the PS server was not the latest either so that is another problem.

This game is bugged as hell and continues to have massive problems after major patches. Yet again a game is released in an unfit form because the publisher is too lazy to get into a decent state. Good old EA, a leopard never changes its spots.

This happened to me again today after the new weekly challenge also I wasn't able to use flashbacks during the event either so this to me seems to be the newest bug with this game! Come on devs will you please fix this game properly? This is becoming extremely tiresome now, I'm almost ready for shelving this game permanently

I just noticed the same issue

This issue applies to me in both EA app and Origin PC platforms

I had completed every event 100% from the regular game.

I never completed the Newer DLC Challenges Ravenwest and Destruction sponsor event unlocks.

I noticed for myself a few days ago.

The problem occurred last weekend, I've not had it before. Whether that aligns with a patch release I'm not sure but it's definitely a new issue as far as I'm concerned. For obvious reasons I have not committed any time to replay lost progress as I can't be sure I won't lose it again.

This was on PS5.

Same thing happened here after a Pro Truck Event.
