I have all the latest updates on my console, I only have 4 total games downloaded on my console, this was really the main reason I got EA play, and everytime I open the game I get to the press x screen at the very beginning, I press x and it crashes. I have deleted and redownloaded three times. Any ideas on how I can make this game work?

Found this on reddit. If you go offline before starting the game it works. As soon as you sign in you get kicked though. So if you’re just trying to finish the single player part you can offline.

Worked for me for one race. I quit after that. Will try again later and post if it works.
I have the same issue cannot start the game uninstall and re installed 3 times and still same error and cannot play on or offline
Same for me, I hope it has something to do with the servers and may be fixed tomorrow. Maybe its a weekend related problem
I was able to play this morning as long as I’m offline. Probably 10 or so races. As soon as I connected though the game closed.
Same for me I did the database rebuild and still crash after press X
Yeah, offline works, but you can't use the buyed DLC-s.
It's so annoying!
Why don't you fix Dirt 5 so I can actually play the game on PS5
