Re: Yellow Screen After DLC Update 2

Hey @J0SHV777 Does this continue to happen every time you launch the game now? To fix are you just adjusting the resolution, or which settings do you change to see this get fixed?

Thanks for helping @EA_Illium. The yellow screen happens almost everytime when launching the game. On the the main menu when you need to go into settings then video then advanced. All you needed to do was to change any settings in advanced video. When it asks you to confirm these settings select no so you can continue to play on the graphics you orignally chose. Everytime when I entered a race on the race creator, once it loads, the whole screen is yellow, so before the race begins or during the race you need to go to options then video then advanced and do the same thing as before to change the graphics present (or any other graphics setting) and clicking no. Once you finish the race it sends you back to the main menu where the screen is yellow/orange and you need to do everything again. This never happened before this update and it makes the game really annoying to play now. I have a low GPU, but I doubt thats the problem because as I said, I never used to have this problem before the update.

  • I have the same problem

And there is also something wrong with the sound

@J0SHV777 Are you playing at your monitor's native resolution? Also to confirm which platform are you on?

I was playing on 720p and my laptop runs at 1080p. I play the steam deluxe version.

@J0SHV777 if you set the game to run at the monitors native resolution does this continue?
  • I just bought the game and have the exact same problem.

Running on Intel Integrated Graphics UHD 770 on Intel 13600K.

Changing any of the lighting related effects (Volumetric Lightning and Lighting Quality) and reverting back to "Off" and "Low" respectively temporarily fixes this issue.

I run the game on Intel(R) Iris(R) xe intergrated graphics, so maybe it's a glitch based on intel's intergrated graphics.

  • This bug seems to have been fixed in yesterday's DLC update (Winter Bash).
