Again the Game Does Not Start

I lowered the UAC to the bottom.  I opened up the EA App, repaired it, changed my user name again and restarted my PC.  

The game still does not start.  When I press Play, Stop appears and then it goes back to displaying Play.  Doesn't even show "Preparing Game" anymore.

How about if you, EA check my account and find out what is going on.

I just validated all my files and they were okay.

If I uninstall and re-install the game, will I lose all my attributes?  Specifically, my skills, clothing, equipment and rewards?

You should not lose any items when reinstalling the game.

Additional steps to try:

• Make sure your display is connected to your GPU and not the motherboard video output

Thank you for the reply.  Yes my display is connected to the GPU.  The fact is that I have had this game for a year and these problems just started about 2 months ago.  Not sure about options 2 and 3 as every other game including two other games on PC work perfectly so I don't think it is system related.  It sounds like the easiest option would be to re-install the game.

I reinstalled the game and it still doesn't work.  I do not want to do the other two options you suggested because everything else I have installed on my PC works fine so it cannot be the system.  Also I am not that knowledgeable about computers and don't want to risk screwing up all my other games for this one.

In my initial post I asked if it would be possible for you to look at my account to see if you can determine what the problem is.  If that is not possible do you have a chat online option or can I contact someone?

There really is basic connectivity issue with this game.  I previously posted that a friend of mine pre purchased the deluxe edition and he has never been able to complete 18 holes whether it is solo or multiplayer.  In multiplayer it always crashes after 5 holes.  He is more PC savvy then I am and has tried everything including sending multiple tickets.  The only difference between our systems is he runs Win 11 while I am Win 10.

I really enjoy playing this game but as I previously stated I find it hard to believe that a major company like EA cannot fix this problem.  I have been playing Perfect Golf since 2015 and have never had a crash or problem starting the game and they had I believe two programmers.  I also have 2K23 which in my opinion is inferior to EA Sports PGA but it works perfectly.  I even still have TW 08 installed on my Win 7 PC and no problem there.

Dont know if you tried deleting the ea folder under documents. It maybe corrupt. I think you wont lose anything, but not sure

Got it working again.  I opened up the EA APP and cleared the cache.  Then restarted the PC.  I'll do this again the next time it doesn't start as this is the second time in the last month the game didn't start.
