Is there by any chance you can give an update to players regarding the game? There has been nothing new since April.
Can someone at EA actually show a bit of honesty and let the gamers know please? Really not that hard to show a bit of respect to your gamers and be honest with them
Also, why do you keep locking conversations when they are questions about EA?
They don't like admitting that support for this game no longer exists because people are still spending money to play it. If they told the truth, nobody would buy the game and the number playing and paying for extras would nosedive.
I bought a game pass specifically to play this game, I even asked for a bit of advice from EA staff before making the purchase. That was during Season 11, and they never mentioned anything about the fact that support for this game would end very soon after.
They got your money, and they don't care about anything else!
EA announced in February they were firing, well they were calling them layoff, almost 700 employees, cutback had to be done somewhere. And they have a new very successful College Football game, they were boasting 5 millions players in the first week alone, I'm sure they have lots of devs there. Golf game are not selling many copies , not even close of football. Probably why 2K keep recycling their game over and over again on their old engine, selling them on last generation consoles.
Personally, I just feel fortunate EA gave us one more golf game with modern graphics, even though the game is far from perfect.
Anybody there to answer anyone that has posted a query in the past two years? And not the same automated crap you send to users that is of no help to anyone.
We all know a bit of common decency and respect for your gamers isn't EA's strong suit, but why is there absolutely "NO COMMUNICATION" why the game has been ignored for months?
The CEO announced back in February the company was downsizing, firing about 675 employees, he was cancelling and abandoning games not making enough money. So this game got the axe.
Since the company has downsized, EA does not have the devs and resources to allocate to EA PGA Tour. This game has been around for more than 1.5 years ago; most of the devs are now allocated to in demand games such as EA FC 25, NHL 25, Madden 25, College Football 25 and the Sims. The current PGA Tour reminds me of previous iterations of various games where no updates are being made.
Whatever your answers are based on more or less well-founded assumptions, Aprilbeforemay has the right to ask his question and not give up until he has an answer.
Personally, I support his approach 100% even if I think that a permanent ban will be the only answer from EA managers.

I am just a simple EA customer and player. I say what I think freely and I totally agree with your desire to have an answer.
Despite everything, I think, like many, that only your wallet matters to EA and that we will have to tell ourselves that at least we have a golf game for want of having practically none.
Been there, done that. EA is doing the same as they did with EA Rory almost 10 years ago. A final update and no more communication. After a while with EA Rory, they just locked the discussion board and later, they just hid it.
And it has already been announced by EA they're shutting down this Answer HQ in February.
