This is happening to me now too. 30k gold used for the smoke trail and I get a message saying an unknown error occurred. Try again later.

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Is anything else happening? Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... If on PC, please share a DxDiag (Allows us to get PC Spec's, Check for errors/crashes, and look at drivers) Cheers!

Go to equipment to get to your golf bag. Once you're in there, scroll down to your ball. Click into your ball and you should be able to equip from the third slot.
