Cannot start tournaments (XBOX)

No error messages. It appears that the controller button presses get queued up on the server side. Some time later, as in potentially hours, the button presses are acknowledged. All of a sudden a “window” comes up with the acknowledgement to proceed with the tournament.

For instance, if I were to select (A button) the Daily 4 Holes nothing happens. The choice isn’t acknowledged. But I am able to select a round of Career Event, use the A button in menus, etc. some time later, perhaps hours later, the window appears for the Daily 4 Hole Tournament to “Enter for 0” or “Cancel”. If you try multiple times, the windows queued up will then all appear, hours later, one right after another. As if the A button selection was queued up, released much later. 

This happens only for the daily, weekly and seasonal tournament selections. No where else in the menuing system.

HI @DeepGreenSea49 Can we try the following and check for any changes?

• Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
• Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
• Check for updates 
• Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
• Open you're Xbox NAT Type
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
• Persistent Storage 
• Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray 
• Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage 
• Alternate Mac: 
• Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings 
• Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear 
• Select restart 

I run lots of games. Thank you, but all suggested are in place. NAT open, deleted persistent storage,network settings, etc. The only bug is starting tournaments. Selections are getting queued at EA servers. 

Hi @DeepGreenSea49 To check when the entry fee screen pops up, are you elsewhere in the game when they window finally appears or righting for hours after hitting A?

Also to check are you playing on the internal storage or external storage?

Only in the menuing system, meaning not in an active game such as a career mode game. The entry fee screen can pop up many minutes or hours later. I’ll select A for a tournament say five times, then sometime later they all (5) pop up at once right after another. Internal storage. XBOX NAT mode is open. I should say the delay of the entry fee screen doesn’t happen all the time, maybe only 20% of the time.
