I can't even see any place where you can select any other loft for a driver, period. Like in real life, I want the ability to choose a loft for my style of play. I use a 9 degree in real life, and yes, one degree will make a difference. When you consider the change in carry over 250 yards with a one degree change, it does make a difference, But even worse than what EA Sports is doing is applied to every single club you can choose from. There are no differences in the performance of a Callaway, Cobra, Taylor Made, or EA brand of clubs, they are are the same exact thing performance-wise. The only difference is physical appearance. So, I will not waste the resources to go to their "store" and spend 4,000 credits to obtain a driver based only on physical appearance. And again they ignore the most important part of the golf club - the shaft. The shafts you can change to are only appearance only, and they always have been. In real life, the shaft is like the engine of your golf club. Using the wrong flex shaft according to your swing speed can lead to disastrous results. A slow swing with a stiff shaft will end up as a hard slice, while a very fast swing with a regular flex will result in a hook. EA Sports is putting too much attention to how things look instead of incorporating golf physics into the game. That was the biggest mistake of the other golf game on the market.
