It's annoying that we have to play an entire 4 rounds of 18 holes or alternatively roll the dice and play 4 holes per round and let the AI do the rest.
Why can't we set the rounds per tournament to 1 or 2?
I want to see more courses in career and don't have the time to play 4 rounds every tournament.
They have said this was in the pre-build showed in the Career mode deep dive, but they found an issue with it at the 11th hour and had to take it out. So they have said it's on the docket to put back in. When, I couldn't tell you. But my guess would be sooner rather than later. Just a total guess though

This should never of been a future update, it should have been in the first update! Matchmaking is trash so let us choose the rounds we want to play in career mode please.
So in career mode can you not simulate a round in a 4 round event?? I used to like playing all reg tour events that weren’t majors or Players (as I would always play all 4 rounds of these events) as 3 round events… I’d play round 1 then sim round 2 (and sometimes miss a cut) then play rounds 3 & 4. I found it dampened my win total a little more realistically and sped things up a little bit too.
Yes that's correct, you still cannot choose the amount of rounds.

Yeah this needs to be done ASAP. You basically need to birdie or better every hole doing the quick play to even have a chance to win.. having to play 72 holes to win a tournament on a video game is dumb.
I've been trying to actually play it properly between work and only just done the amateur series. Even indie golf games have this feature, how hard can it be! But the $35 dollar shoes keep updating and thats all they care about
