Chaos Theory.

I had just taken several months off playing this. I got the itch to play some golf so I tried again.  

the first round was fine.  I was remembering how to play.  Second round was great, I remembered. 

Then the third round I remembered why I had stopped…. The Randomly Generated Nonsense. 

This is still the most absurd function ever put in a video game. 

No… they shouldn’t have.   

Yeah, I had a few shots where the game decided to take over. One sent me so far offline my ball ended in a creek. Very frustrating.

It seemed to be “on steroids” but I assumed that was just my memory minimizing how bad it was lol 

Just let me play the game…. In the game.  

EA…. Your game is broken.  The RNG is the worst thing you have ever done.   It is so bad.  It makes no sense.  It is crazy making.  So I guess I’m done with your game.

Game has 0 RNG as evidenced by the easy ability to shoot 18+ under par in all modes but SIM. 

Heck I have to artificially introduce RNG by playing the game while running on the treadmill in order to get a challenge.

Yes there is a dispersion circle and some small amount randomness within the circle, but the everlasting moans on here about rng are way over the top.  If people were shooting 18 over instead of 18 or more under people may have some sort of argument, but they aren’t, so they don’t.
