I enjoy EA Sports PGA Tour 2023 immensely, you have the start of a great Golf Game series that is tremendous in its own, but with future improvements and additions this could be THE golf game that follows in the Tiger Woods game tradition.
I really hope they keep building and improving this game too.
It would be great if EA could follow the Tiger Woods series with improvements. I remembered each iteration of the TW series improved from previous iteration. I am hoping the next iteration for EA PGA Tour can even be better. It would be cool if the title of next iteration is Nelly Korda PGA Tour 25.
I can't image EA is giving up on PGA Tour. They have a multi-year agreement with Augusta National, USGA, PGA and R & A.
The game was very successful, sold one million dollars in the first month alone.

Sold 1M dollars is nothing for EA, they were probably looking to sell at least 1 million copies. They sold over 800,000 copies of EA Rory and it was abandoned.
The first week went great for the game. By the time the Notorious Update 3 ruined the putting, the game started to go sideways. The beginning of the end occurred by update 6 when Madden and EA FC were getting released. I think it is abandoned by now.
Just hoping devs can learn from the mistakes with Update 3 and also RNG so the next iteration is much better and resembles the successful Tiger Woods series.
I really hope we get more courses and pro golfers/legends added to the roster in the future. I would be more than happy for paid dlc packs at this stage. Feel EA did solid the first year after release with updates and added courses, so many thanks. I've sunk nearly 900 hours into this game and it's been a blessing. The game really deserves a chunkier roster of courses and golfers.
Would personally love to see paid dlc regional packs released..

- UK/Ireland/Links pack - Royal Portrush, Carnoustie, Royal Birkdale, Royal County Down, Royal Lytham & St Anne's, Muirfield, Royal St George's.. T. Fleetwood, S Lowry, R McIlroy, C Hull, G Hall, L McGuire
- Australian/New Zealand pack - Royal Melbourne, Barnbougle Dunes, Kingston Heath, Cape Wickham, Paraparaumu Beach, Cape Kidnappers.. A Scott, M Woo Lee, R Fox, M Jee Lee, H Green

Can only speak from my own experience, but this has easily been my favourite golf game to date. Have played em all dating back to the c64 days. I just love how every round and shot feels different, no two rounds ever feel the same.
I play using 72-75 overall rated created golfers, no skill points ever in accuracy or recovery, no specs on any clubs, no green grids, no zoom cam, no wind metre with minimum winds at 8-12 mph. Game is a blast and work of art!
EA, please do not let this game fade away!!
I notice EA have not done a reskin of the game with The Open Season title menu etc..(or pro pass?)
They have done so for every major since release.
