Elevation Not Affecting Shot Direction
I think this has been discussed from the time the game first released but why does the game show how many degrees of lie elevation there is when it doesn't impact the flight of the ball in the game? ...

I’m assuming by “lie elevation” you are referring to situations where the ball is above or below the feet which results in either a natural draw or fade shot pattern?
if so, lie elevation DOES work properly from the standpoint that the ball physics do what they are supposed to; HOWEVER, in modes that have the shot preview (everything but SIM), the amount of draw/fade appears to be baked into the preview, thus negating the need for the golfer to make additional adjustments.

But it does seem the game doesn't care.
