@BlackCat09522 While the Ryder Cup competition uses the EU flag, it’ll be used on the game. If you really have issue with this, please contact the relevant authorities to stop using it at the Ryder Cup though since they’ve been using it since maybe as far back as the 1991 Ryder Cup, I don’t really like your chances.

The EU flag is not the official flag of Team Europe and never has been. It is just a convenience because the continent of Europe does not have a flag. The EU flag in no way represents continental Europe and more than half the team.
Why anyone would use a political emblem for a sporting event is beyond me. Politics has no place in the sporting arena.
