2K made an attempt of photo face capture in WWE 2K20 during the advent of next gen console. The implementation in WWE 2K20 totally sux. Margot Robbie did not even look close to her picture; she ended up looking like Emma Thompson. 2K offered a refund after the debacle. But 2K was determined to deliver. Two years later, the photo face capture of Margot Robbie in 2K22 looked like her. By WWE 2K23, it fits the modern era of gaming. This was all done in PS5 and Xbox Series X. I think EA is capable of bringing back gameface for next gen consoles since EA was the first to use this technology with the SIMs.
😂🤣 I can totally appreciate your enthusiasm on that particular subject 😉(the whole photo game face thing) but I was referring to the “game play” features that you were talking about from the previous EA/Woods era. I always loved playing those games because back then it seemed that EA understood the concept/difference between sim golfing and arcade golfing 🤔 Meaning that if you wanted a realistic golf game you could have it, but if you wanted to play an arcade style golf game you could have that as well. Back then the difference between the two was unmistakable. However in this new incarnation of PGA Tour (at least for me) playing in arcade mode (which is what I like to play) is no different than playing in say…..normal mode 😳 I play these golf games for fun, not so I can pull my hair out over every little thing that can happen in real golf 😲🫣😂🤣 Where’s the PUTT PREVIEW? Why is the “swing line” in arcade mode the same skinny 🤬 width that it is in normal mode? EA seems to have forgotten what “ARCADE MODE” means. Okay, that’s my rant for the day, thanks for listening and keep on rockin’ that golf ball 😲🫣😂🤣

I got too carried away with Gameface. I will go back to game play. The arcade mode is actually easy as designed in TW14 which I normally play. Arcade mode in this game is like the next level up in TW14. I heard from post from SIM Players that the most difficult setting in TW14 is more difficult than SIM in this game. I think all fanbases were included in TW14.
I think the putt preview from TW14 accounted for the speed of the greens making them more accurate. The preview in current game does not account for conditions on the green. The putt preview in current game is more of a reference and gamers need to adjust for green speed to make the putt. In some cases, chip shots are more effective making putts than the putt preview.
Ball physics rocked in TW14. For the hole 3 in Wolf Creek, the club needs to be increased by one to make the green. For the current game, players need to execute Maverick’s mountain climbing maneuver from Top Gun Maverick to make green. It would be funny if Maverick’s flight suit is available as clothing for male and female golfers.
