Surely EA look at these forums to gauge feedback.
Come on EA, step up and show us you care about the people that keep you in work!
I agree with everyone here. Tried to play couch co-op with my son with profiles we had created but not possible. Major omission, couch co-op is the most fun you can have in golf game. Also any player can control any golfer! This needs to be for goodness sake. Get the basics right EA or no one will be paying for this.

Unfortunately, I don't believe EA ever intended this to work the way we all expected it to.
I preordered this game and with the preorder came bonuses. One of them automatically increased my golfer to Level 14. So, because of that, I played a bunch of games as my wife's created character just to try and catch her up before we played together. This was before we all realized such a thing is not possible.
Anyway, while playing as her, I was unlocking course mastery bonuses on Augusta. I figured, that's cool, she'll have those done and then when I play, I can unlock them as well for my golfer. Silly me for assuming EA designed this properly. No, when I switched to my golfer, the course masteries that were unlocked under her golfer were also unlocked under mine.
EA thinks that all created golfers are the same person, thus anything unlocked under one applies to all. Thus why I don't think we will ever be able to play a proper couch co-op because it sees the golfers as the same person.
And, not a single mention, or even acknowledgement about this issue in their latest update announcement of what's coming.
Let me guess, the programmers are a bunch of 20 somethings who never even played a past EA golf game and have no clue this is something (based on this thread alone) that a lot of people want and expected.

I play couch coop almost exclusively. Sure wish I knew you can't with created golfers before I spent the money. My other issue is as a lefty, I have only Bubba Watson to play with. Why is handedness locked? If I have no choice but to play with a "pro", why can't I at least play left handed? This is unbelievably frustrating.
EA are you serious? For years since way back. My GF and I created golfers and play together couch co op. We would build up our created golfers while playing as well. Now you can only have 1 created player the other person must choose from a list of premade golfers. Then you can't assign a controller to a player. I can swing and effect the player she plays with ?? Not to mention a brand new 4k game with only 30 fps?? EA if your goal is to lose long time customers, you are doing a great job at it.
- @JTACK78 Join the list of the multitude of players who are disgusted by this blatant oversight. One would think the developers never played a past EA golf game that always had this feature.

- @abc1888154201 I'm afraid I agree absolutely with all the others on this.
The primary reason of being able to use more than one ps4/5 controller is to be able to play the same game together with freinds and family.
I just paid for this game for that very reason from the ps store but there's no option in this game for that.
So I tried for a refund from the store and was refused for this as its not covered by the store conditions of sale hence I just wasted £69.
My only consolation is I will never buy a game from the store again and in future buy new games only from external sources.
