My wife and I created own characters and played locally againts each other in old EA Sports golf games.
The characters we created had their own look, clothing and skills and
these characters could improve their skills by performing tasks.
We could choose where to play and so on.
Is this kind of activity possible in EA Sports PGA Tour 2023?

Summarize your bug Not able to select my player when at my friend's house to compete against each other. I thought this would be a basic feature? I have the game and so does my mate. So if I go to his house and log in on his PS5 I can select my account but my player isn't there to select! My saved game data is synced and it's definitely there. I can select my account when using the 2nd controller but my player isn't there to select.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get a PS5 have two players that have a character created log in on the same PS5. Start the game with one profile and go to set up a local game. Let player 1 select their character, now player 2 presses PS button and selects their account. It then goes back to the game, go to select player. But where is my player?
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't select my character
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my character on my profile for this game so that I can play a local game with my character at my mates. Why do all game companies now think that everyone only wants to play online?
I know it sounds like such a rant, I can confirm that I really do love this game, this is why I find it so frustrating that I can't do this simple task.
@tmimp67I’ll stick with 2K21 for now. Player customisation is much more limited in 23 (or it was when I tried it) and the shadows were that prominent that it was hard to see whose turn it was to play unless you purchased different outfits to make the distinction. Not sure if they’ve addressed this either.
As for this game, I doubt that this missing feature will be implemented anytime soon - if ever.
Heads up for anyone who is interested. I don't know if this applies to the Xbox version as well, but I saw this on the Playstation store.
Up until 4/26, the Deluxe version of PGA Tour 2K23 is 60% off. While this game may not have the presentation of EA's game, at least we have the ability to play our own created golfers against each other.
EA has until the 25th to address couch co-op and then I'm getting that if they don't.
Yea well it's EA so good luck with that money is already in their account and that's about it for EA.
But i know like for NFL they do it so you cannot grind stuff easily they want you too buy their loot boxes obviously.
But in PGA it does not make sense yea
It's like that in all their games so don't expect them to change it for PGA
If they do not adress this, I will never ever believe anymore of this "we hear you and listen to your feedback" propaganda :D
Anything on this EA, or are you going to continue to believe you gave us the couch co-op we all expected?
