Game freezes when I try to start round 4 in career mode

It won't get fixed, their CEO decided to downsize, laid off some 675 employees in Feb 2024 and abandoning some games not making money, like this one.  There has been no support since then, except for fixing a server issue. It won't get better, there has been at least 2 more rounds of layoff since then, canceling more games and closing an entire studio 2 months ago.

All you can do for your issue is to clear your console cache and since you're on XBox, don't use Quick Resume as it's bringing all kind of issues like this one.

Hopefully they can fix it because I can’t play my career at all and it’s annoying. EA needs to work on bugs because I swear every game has thousands now.

So I've just backed out and signed back in, got to my career screen and chose to skip event, it has done exactly the same so it's not when starting a round its a bug that EA need to fix. I'm going to submit a report and see if it can get sorted. 

Hi, I'm having the same issue. I am stuck on the 4th round of the Mesquite classic, wolf Creek R4. Every time I load the game and lock in my settings for the round it just freezes and the music stops forcing me to quit. Currently being sat waiting 5 minutes and nothing.
