@seanathan43229 Yep, this happened to me about 5 times so far where I tried to speed up the putt and the game just freezes up and nothing continues. I had to exit out of my round every time.

The putt complete and the game continue to progress.Since the patch hit, my ball sometimes does get played from a very different position where it landed, putting animations are frozen and lag a few seconds, the green reads are off and sometimes I get the wrong audio commentary. Something is very wrong on my end ^^

I see this issue every time I putt before the golfer's animation to address the ball, typically for tap ins that take little putt aim adjustment. 100% of the time the golfer freezes for about 5 or so seconds and then the ball is putted, putter head never moves forward but the game does not freeze. Also, during cinematic after the putt is made the golfer still appears to be at address but when the next hole begins its all good. The biggest issue comes if you tap Y to speed it up while the golfer is frozen. The game freezes but I can still access the pause menu and go to the xbox dashboard but it won't unfreeze until I kill the game. Have not tried simply quitting to main menu yet but I assume the same result which is you lose all XP, holes, etc. beyond the last auto save.

FIX THIS. I HAVE LOST MANY ROUNDS SO FAR AND IT IS JUST UNACCEPTABLE FOR YOUR COMPANY STATURE TO SOFT LOCK THIS EASILY. ITS 100% OF THE TIME IF YOU FINISH PUTT BEFORE SETUP ANIMATION COMPLETES. BUT SHORT PUTTS THIS IS ALWAYS> AND EASY TO FORGET AN DDO IT FAST STEAMING THROUGH HOLES AND SHORT PUTTTS> BAD EA BAD BAD BAD

Summarize your bug During putting the game will soft lock if you try to speed up the ball going towards the hole during another bug.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? First bug is that if you begin your putt before the character has addressed the ball all animations stop. Then you just wait for a few seconds and the ball will begin to roll usually. The second thing that happens is the game soft locks if you try to speed up the animations during this previous bug.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game stops. You must quit the round. Then come back in and redo the entire hole.
What do you expect to see? I expect the player to display a putting animation and also for the game to allow me to speed up the ball rolling like it does for every other hit.

I am able to replicate this every single time. I have waited for 20 minutes to see if it will go away and it does not.

Summarize your bug I spent 10,000 in game currency to get 10 tokens in order to play the seasonal tournament. I’m frozen in a putting animation on the 10th hole and if I back out I lose all the money.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’ve noticed that if you give the power for a putt and do the follow through before the player gets set, the player on screen will bring the putter back and then stop. But a couple seconds later he will follow through most of the time. I was impatient and frustrated because I missed an easy out and this time pressed triangle a couple of times to speed it up and when the putter went back it’s been froze. I’ve waited a good 30 minutes because I don’t want to lose the money I put into the tokens, but still frozen. Have pressed every button but can’t get out of it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes and you have to back out of the round. Losing any coins you spent on tokens…
What do you expect to see? The player to finish the putt instead of freezing. I would also like the 10,000 in game currency back that I spent on 10 tokens to play in the tournament.

I have also experienced something similar to this on my PS5. It happens when I am playing the game quickly. When I go to complete a tap in putt (not using the auto-tap in feature) I make the putt very quick but the animation can't keep up. What you end up seeing is the power bar level move but after I follow through with the putter the character is still frozen. The ball then moves forward into the cup and the round continues normally. The game doesn't freeze and I don't have to exit my round but the character is frozen for the putt. Happens 100% time when I putt quick.

It's just happened to me on the 13th hole for the Sim Seasonal Oak Hill tournament... I'm sitting at -3 and the games just collapsed. Absolutely brutal experience that makes me never want to play this game online going forward.
