Green View
Maybe its just me but I thought the green view would include the elevation in Sim mode. Would a caddie book not include this in real golf? I'm just starting to play more Sim and find some of the mo...

Isn't the whole idea of this game to imitate the golfing experience? And every step closer to that the ultimate goal?
They can always create an easier playing environment with slower green speeds reducing the balls roll out. And reducing the impact of a poor swing and poor timing with a more receptive setting in the game.
I don't get all the anger. There is room for everyone... isn't it time they expanded this game to accommodate more skill levels? For the game to grow you need more participants, rather than limit the amount of people wanting to play the game.
There are a lot of people here encouraging EA to expand and improve the game. A lot of you call it complaining... they see potential unfulfilled. And the window to capture this group of players will not stay open forever.
For the game to stay the way it is, with the ever shrinking user base. This game will get shelved, and I don't think anyone wants that.
Like usual, you have no idea what other players other than simmers want. No idea at all. And when you requested that the ball should go over the hole like the hole was not there in your stupid bug report, and EA did EXACTLY what you wanted... everybody got mad and most left, you started to deflect and put the fault on everybody else like a crass politician like Trump and Trudeau. All in the same pods. And here you have another of your bright idea to make everybody mad again, wiping out Arcade, Pro and lots of Tour players just for your fantasies. So selfish.
Now if EA really doesn't want an Arcade and Pro mode, so be it. We will leave. And 3-clickers can have fun with a sweet spot and all green arc until the end with no perfect. Wipe most of them out too just like you wish. Simmer dreams, ruining every game for everybody else one at a time.

Currently, most of the arcade player and 3-clickers have been wiped out in current PGA Tour game. If new feature gets added, the next iteration will also have it. That would almost certainly have the arcade players and 3-clickers wiped out of the entire PGA Tour series all together; if this happens, the series would end up like the NBA Live franchise. Looks like TW14 is the last great golf game ever made; even 2K don't come close. Just love NHL, EA FC, UFC, NBA 2K and WWE 2K since these games don't have Simmer control and influence.
There is no next iteration. They have already said that this version is going to be a service that is continually updated.

Live Service also means that when there's no more money to be made, they will not only stop developing the game but also probably shutdown the server. We will lose all of our characters, career mode and will be stuck with only Quick Play. Maybe that's the reason they're making it hard to earn coins in this game for those entering all tournaments. It forced some to buy green points for tickets with real money, or spend real money for the premium Pro-pass to earn even more coins.
