dear EA sports,
please add an xp boost to the game like right now, having to play close to 1000 holes from level 53 to 60 is INSANE! that is WAY to much to level up 10 total levels, you (EA) should've thought about this b4 the launch of this "patch" (the "casual" player might never hit 60 playing only 40 holes per day playing the daily tournaments, if thats ALL they do)
add it somewhere along the "pro-pass." and I'm talking about at least a 50% increase in xp

I don't know if they're in there yet, but there will be "XP Boosters" being added to the store at times, per their patch notes:
XP Boosters:
XP Boosters are a new consumable item that allows players to earn XP at an increased rate for a fixed amount of time.
Boosters will only be available in the store at limited times during the season.

Never thought the new patch drove current game into a new low. I am expecting the next patch will get even worse. Britney Spears “Crazy” would be background music to play 1000 holes to reach level 60. I am so glad I stopped playing this game more than a month ago.
I remember a thread complaining there was nothing to do after leveling up and winning their first season. It looks like EA did something about it.

Agree with that. It’s funny this was something I didn’t complain about. There has been so many things advanced level gamers complained about like the lipout and cup physics and I had to go for the ride because I didn’t want them. There were way more advanced gamers when this game released. A lot of their wishes have been implemented but just broke the fundamentals instead. My main complaint is the fundamentals and that took a backseat. Just waiting for next iteration to come. I might read forum before buying next iteration.
I'm on record as saying the concept of levels is dumb in a sport game. That said, who cares if it takes long to get from 50-60? By level 30 you have enough points that the game is ridiculously easy. We don't even need the additional attributes post 50....
I don't understand this mindset of being able to get everything now! What happened to enjoying the process of earning rewards.
1000 holes will take roughly 55 rounds of golf. If people play 2 rounds a day it would take less than a month. And you would be levelling up the whole time.
There is no need to make the point system more irrelevant even faster than it takes to do it now. I would have rather it had been up to level 100 giving you only 1 skill point at a time.
I think it took me only about 3 weeks to get to level 50 if memory serves me correctly. That doesn't provide much value for a AAA title. The game is so easy anyway do we really need to level up to the max.
I feel once you get all the shot types (when I was using them), everything else was just icing on the cake. The extra 10 skill points are more to get people to grind and play the game, it really doesn't add that much to the gameplay.
It really is a hook to get some people to come back and play. I'm a completionist at heart but even I don't feel a pull to do this.
I'm not even sure I will use the extra skill points. Just my opinions but I feel fine at where I am with 50. I like the idea of needing to pick and choose where to use them. Maybe if they finally toughen up the game I will use them but until then...

Hoping we could push the B button or Circle Button to undo update like making a mulligan. The level 60 should have been implemented in update 2.0 instead of waiting til update 7.0.
XP Boosters are now in the Store.
They seem to last 2 hours, and come in Legendary (5x XP), Epic (3x XP), and Rare (2x XP) varieties.
The Legendary and Epic can only be purchased with real money (green currency), while the Rare option is 2,000 gold or 200 green coins.
The splash screen on the main menu says they are available for this weekend only.
