Has anyone successfully completed this challenge? I've been at it for awhile and it seems near impossible for me to land all 5 shots within 10 feet of the hole with how the shot is set up. Anytime I land on the green it just rolls right past the hole, the only time I get to 10 feet is if I luckily hit the rough first to slow the roll down.
Any advice would be great on how to get all 3 stars from this challenge because everything I have tried has failed.

Have you tried using a high draw (if right-handed)? From a quick try I can get shots to stop on the green that way but no danger of me getting 5 inside 10' any time soon! Higher control to increase my shot shaping range would help, as would more practice/talent using the angled swing plane (which I could of course turn off).
Gave it a try, definitely better for landing on the green but still so hard to get within 10 feet lol, I'll keep working with this though can see if I can get it. Thanks for the help!
That sounds like one I was trying earlier. I've sunk the shot a few times but it is very hard to get the ball to stop. If you are using the arcade setting it is sort of possible to get a 4 iron with high approach to land fairly consistently near the hole if you spam backspin on it whilst its in the air . . but it doesn't feel right to have to do that.
I might be wrong though and talking about a different hole and I just closed the game down and didn't feel like booting it up again just to check. Is it the one with a pretty narrow green just over some water?
Yup you are thinking of the right one. I just tried that approach and it seems to work but is still hard to do consistently. I'll keep spamming it though and hopefully land 5 in a row. Thanks for the help
I've tried so many different things. Best thing I've tried was 6 iron with power approach. I've even tried swapping to a 7 hybrid and a 9 wood. Nothing stops but the 6 but it's inaccurate spamming power shot
I feel like this needs to be patched. It's a crazy challenge just to get a hat.. It's taken me about 20 tries just to get the first star..

Well, EA then gives you only one of the two strategies. Go for it. There is no layup option.
The land 5 balls within 25 feet should be for Go for it.
Land 5 within 10 feet should be after laying up or after EA moves you forward to a closer spot to wedge on with 5 tries.
Select 4 iron on approach, max high draw, move cursor to the right so left bottom edge of circle touching first cut. Should be 208 Y 4in approx. Go for it, add spin if appropriate but most times don't need if hit perfectly.
