Next Update triple bogey limit

I am hoping the next update will do away with the triple bogey limit on a hole.  I saw Chad Ramey card a 13 in the first round of the Memorial on Thursday so even a PGA pro can do it.  The only reason I can think of for capping the score on a hole is for handicaps?  However if a player wants to artificially inflate his handicap he could intentionally do it anyway so the limit makes no sense.

This game has a lot of potential so looking forward to other additions such as a driving range, practice green for the short game and putting, and stats for rounds including the total feet of putts made.  Replays with multiple cameras?

Also make the full swing more difficult.  Even at Sim it is easy to hit fairways.

But the golf 2K game haven't the licences about courses or players and I find the gameplay much worse than EA's.

There won't be any good golf games in 2025 and EA's will remain, for want of anything better, the best of all in terms of graphics and gameplay. Everyone has their own opinion. This is mine.

The last time the bosses got the golf games right was when Tiger Woods was in his prime since Tiger made golf really cool. Without another generational talent like Tiger, golf games wouldn’t sell as much. Currently 2K got Tiger, and some time in the future, the majors license would follow to 2K. That trend happened in Basketball. Previously EA had the rights to Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and the WNBA with NBA Live. Since NBA 2K took over the Basketball market, 2K now has the rights to Kobe, MJ and the WNBA.

This is kind of the issue with these big public companies. In private companies, when customers are voting with their wallets, a private company will try to make their products better. In public companies like EA, customers buying the games are not the real customers anymore. The real customers have become the investors and when they're voting with their wallets, it's cancelling and abandoning games not making money, laying off employees. Microsoft and Sony Playstation did the same, laying off even more employees than EA.

Totally agree. The quality of Madden 25, EA FC 25 and NHL 25 have been lagging a step compared to their predecessors. EA PGA Tour is even two or more steps behind TW14. Private companies have created amazing games with quality light years ahead. San Diego Studio’s MLB the Show 24 and Steel City’s Boxing Game Undisputed are so much fun to play and are good examples of better quality games from Private companies.
