offline multiplayer
Will there be offline couch multiplayer, where you can play as the pros with friends, as you have been able to do in all Tiger and Rory games?

- @MaouYumisu I hope so, really don't want to need a persistent connection to play a golf career mode! Its the reason I didn't buy their competitor.

No one is able to play couch co-op with two created golfers. You can do so if one chooses a real life golfer, but almost no one wants that. We want to play with our created golfers against each other offline (couch co-op). I'm not sure why everyone can't figure this out. I just finished playing 18 holes offline with my dad and uncle. Each of us were able to select our custom players created locally on my dad's console, then adjusting our controller assignments as needed. Oh, my bad. We were playing TW14 on the PS3, the last legit PGA Tour game produced by EA. 👿
It turns out it’s NOT “offline” at all. PGA TOUR doesn’t even give me the option to play career mode unless you’re connected to EA servers, not ps plus or Xbox live “internet connection”
EA really does suck.
A year later, we now know why. Since launch, there isn't an option to play loval couch co-op with 2 custom golfers. Despite numerous posts EA have done nothing about this. You cannot even play with different settings on different controllers.
The game is already grindy enough at least let us earn xp while we play with our friends !
It really is such a shame because this could have been the best Golf game we've had for a long while, if only this was patched. I'm no dev, but surely it wouldnt be that hard to implement. It would make this an 8.5/10 game rather than a 6/10 game imo.

It is half finished because the CEO at EA cancelled the game a year ago. Nothing to do with devs at this point, it's out of their hands.
