He said Update 3.0 has improved the putting as it is now more difficult. However he says it is still way to easy to hit the fairways so hopefully your next fix is to make the rest of the game more difficult. At the highest difficulty level breaking par should be a challenge. I am impressed at how quickly your development team is responding to player feedback and look forward to future improvements and fixes.
i run it on a 7700 cpu and 1070 gpu and the game runs flawless bud at 1900x1200. I'm assuming the 2070 should run 1440 smooth? Game seems to also be running smoother after the patch, but maybe its my imagination lol.

I would like more game modes too, but people are complaining they can't find matchups for the one game mode they do have which is why they are probably consolidating it. I haven't had issues finding players, but if everyone is spread out among 6 different game modes they would definitely need to add lobbies.
What I am still waiting on to grow the playerbase though is a chat box on the pc, a turn based option, and a shot clock. User created tournaments would be huge too.- in my opinion banning players from tournaments because they don't own a controller is just stupid

Focusing on getting the core mechanics right is exactly what EA should be doing. Sure multiplayer online should be considered, but ya gotta get the core gameplay right first. Then you can worry about dealing with the inevitable cheating that will be done by players online.(laughing) Online league play is cool, if you can find a good group, but, EA should just worry about making the game play solid.

Putting is complete Overtuned this patch I like lip ins/out but now sometimes the ball just goes over the centre of the hole when I’ve been hitting them normal pace

If you have chance it would be handy if you could capture a video of this if it happens again. Good to give the devs a clear demonstration of what's actually happening 🙂.I guess I've been lucky but I've not seen this myself yet. I'll bet you've played more than me though.
Putting is great now. It’s realistic. It feels like putting instead of just getting close and the ball dropping in. It was too easy before. The lip outs are fantastic. Golf is hard. This makes the game fun. Now they should tune the swing accuracy on approach and drives to be a little less forgiving as well. And more bad lie penalties in rough and sand.
