Currently a 17 GIG update out (currently downloading). Not seen any patch notes yet, does anyone know what this is? Patch 5?

I never thought 60 fps was important for a golf game. Tested it this morning and it doesn't do anything to improve my gameplay. But I have definitely noticed how much the graphics have degraded.For all the naysayers that complained about 60 fps before the game released, it was all quiet on the western front after the game was released.I personally would have rather EA had applied their resources elsewhere than than 60 fps. Especially after seeing the finished product.

@apollojeff24 I'm okay with providing this for those that wanted it. I just feel sad that the developer was talked into putting this feature to the top of the TODO list.There are a lot of other issues that should have been addressed first.

Well, for the PC 4.5 patch, I noticed 2 things:1. Store timer seems to only show up when viewing specs. It's GONE everywhere else. I wonder if that means there won't be any more new items like clothes, clubs etc etc.2. For the first time ever, when exiting the game via Steam I got an error message saying it couldn't sync with the cloud. I'm hopeful this is just a one-time thing and may not be related to the game or having to go through EA's app.

@PicoTTo2008 Yeah, I noticed that too, as my computer starts steam when it starts up. Can not find any patch notes anywhere, on these forums here, YouTube, etc... I've got some other things to do, but after, I guess I'll have to start the game and find out. lol Hopefully they fixed the challenges so they actually work and pay out now.

I think that would have been expected. Unless the they can fully optimize things, you have to steal from somewhere to pay it somewhere else.

@electodream indeed, i did not notice to much difference but prefer quality over anything else but will keep testing in performance mode, it does seem smoother to be fair

I received a in game message stating this is patch 4.5.
it said to come here to see the details of the fixes.
Looks like its not posted yet. Someone at EA is asleep at the switch.

Evian course is still absolutely horrendous
bog like fairways, manhole covers on holes and invisible walls at the cup deflecting your putts away instead of lipping in.
the lag on that course is atrocious too

I have the Steam version and am getting 70+ FPS so I assume that patch 4.5 won't change anything there.

Well yes, there would have to be some trade-off. Unless the GPU were being more than 50% underused beforehand which clearly it won't have been. This quality/performance mode choice is basically what it standard for most current gen console games so good to see this added 🙂.
