Patch 5.0 Discussion

Game released almost half a year ago, yet most of the stuff released was stuff that was withheld from initial release for "seasonal content", a few minor fixes, a few more major bugs and finally almost none of the requested community hot topics have been touched.

The community managers here are only there to keep the last few people who visit these forums entertained while sending the feedback to a spam account that auto deletes it and sends out "we heard you" messages for every 100 pages of feedback digitally shreddered 🥳

This "revival" of EA golf is in my top 3 gaming disappointments in 2023 and there are already plenty of those....

 3 months and a week = almost 6 months?

Well...came here after seeing a patch downloading for the game on Steam, and read the patch notes...it was a long list, but without any substance to me. But sorta sat there for a minute thinking if anyone of it will lure me back to the game. This is what they've been working on all this time?  Could they not be reading their own forums?

I'm not going to go over things people have been almost begging for, but other than turn-based online play(which some will find important and most will feel it should have been there at release), I see nothing that pulls me to dive into the game again. I guess I will just keep an eye on upcoming patches, but I'm not getting my hopes up anymore to just be disappointed. They could have added an 'Others Things We Are Looking Into' section at least. My hopes are for a more complete release next year that won't take its full life cycle to fix and tune.

I'll admit it's a promising return for a golf game by EA, but I think it's just gonna take time to mature into being what some hope to see in the game. A complete golf game like they used to release in the old days. I'm not sure what went sideways in the following years, but it can be frustrating asking for things that all golf games used to deliver as an integral part of a golf game.

Till then, Diablo IV's season 1's sirens song calls....time for a Rogue Build?

There’s still no performance mode for Xbox series S consoles can we have an update on this please? 

I just wasted 20 tickets trying to play weekly and seasonal tournaments. The tickets were taken from me but the screen didn’t advance to actually start any on the tournaments. How can EA make this right?

Hi @-Roasted513- @ghostface112384 If you are running into issues with no proceeding after paying for tournaments please make sure to provide your information in our on-going thread here. 

Since updates have been released the week of a major when will the next update be issued considering that the British Open is the last one for the season.  I hoping that turn based multiplayer, replays and the option of saving quick rounds are added.
