Here are a lot of issues with the game.
EA:
We just release some store stuff and some easy to fix backlog stuff that should have made it into release a few months ago. And other stuff noone wanted. Just make the patchnotes look bigger than they are.
We will be back (maybe) with another lackluster patch in a month that does not adress anything you asked for while working with a skeleton crew on this failed franchise.
Haven't touched the game in weeks now, this patch will not change that.
Stayed away from EA for years, came back for the golf. Paying full price for the game was a mistake. While single player is allright, the game is just not a good sports game that you can enjoy with friends. Sterile as * and it is clear that EA shuts down future development bit by bit and just delivers on minimal effort.
There was reddit tracking spreadsheet that states that Dustin Johnson’s wood spec is available in the store today.

When I logged into store today Danielle Kang’s iron and Cameron Champ’s driver specs are in the store instead. I am hoping the update did not force the change in store within a one day period. I am hoping specs in store do not rotate more than once a day. If that rotation did occur twice for today, I lost out on Dustin Johnson’s wood spec. I have been waiting to get that one.
The patch introduced specs for Tony Finau, Patrick Cantlay, Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson. Today started out with fireworks. I am glad the Tony Finau wood spec showed up today. It turns out the spec had an overall rating better than the Dustin Johnson wood spec.
I am looking forward for the ball specs for Tony Finau, Patrick Cantlay, Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson. If either one of them are Better than Dustin Johnson’s ball specs, I would get them instead. I am impressed that Nelly Korda’s Hybrid spec has a power rating of 73 which is close to Dustin Johnson’s power rating.
I quite enjoy it. Yes it’s EA but I am having fun with the game. I want replay, 60fps, and more swing animations, and more penalty for playing out of the rough, but this is a great game for the most part. To reach his own.
