I use the swing meter, and it was just a useless change. Also, for anyone trying to get one of the 100% power challenges good luck. It’s just harder now to judge 100% over swing until the swing passes into the red .

Anyone who wants to can go back to exactly how it was before. To do this they need to go into the Visual settings and change the Swing Meter Style from Modern to Classic. Which from a quick test is likely what I'll be doing.

I think keeping the previous arc as the default but adding this new one as an option may have been the better way to go personally, as I fear lots of people may be frustrated by the change but not realise they can reverse it.
This is why when a company releases a game they should never be changing the default settings of any difficulty
if you want to make it a more challenging? Make a new difficulty
