Here are a lot of issues with the game.
EA:
We just release some store stuff and some easy to fix backlog stuff that should have made it into release a few months ago. And other stuff noone wanted. Just make the patchnotes look bigger than they are.
We will be back (maybe) with another lackluster patch in a month that does not adress anything you asked for while working with a skeleton crew on this failed franchise.
Haven't touched the game in weeks now, this patch will not change that.
Stayed away from EA for years, came back for the golf. Paying full price for the game was a mistake. While single player is allright, the game is just not a good sports game that you can enjoy with friends. Sterile as * and it is clear that EA shuts down future development bit by bit and just delivers on minimal effort.
I quite enjoy it. Yes it’s EA but I am having fun with the game. I want replay, 60fps, and more swing animations, and more penalty for playing out of the rough, but this is a great game for the most part. To reach his own.
