The same goes for me.
I have tried everything mentioned on these messageboards and followed guidelines posted by others having the same issue on youtube but it does not make any difference - career mode will not start at ALL.
This is like 90% of the game, which does not work at all.
I have now succesfully completed almost all challenges and quests not related to the career mode.
How long should one wait for a fix before asking for a refund, it has been weeks since the release and still no progression on this point.
Other issues with the game (for me) 2023-04-16
Every time the game starts, one needs to see the intro, go through all the legal agreements, change all the graphical settings, audio settings, gameplay settings.
When going in to tournaments, choosing one of the tabs Weekly Tournaments/Seasonal Tournaments/Pending/Final and press X (Global Leaderboards) or U (Preview Rewards) or Right Control (Tournament Leaderboard) upon pressing B (Back) from one of these screens one will return to the Daily Tournaments ????? How frustrating is this when you have 10 tournaments in Pending status and you try to check the current leaderboard for the selected tournament and every time you go back you end up in the Daily Tournaments?
Come on!
In Competitive mode one are now left with ONE option only and that is random 9 holes with random settings, and even despite that, it really hard finding someone/anyone to play against.
1 time out of 100 i was able to play 2 other golfers at once, and they were ranked number 1 and 5 on the global leaderboard. Fun!
