Still the same issue.
Even worse actually, since the challenges section is no longer working, at least this is true for me.
PC
EA APP
EA PLAY PRO
1. Not possible to start career mode at all.
When selecting Career from the main menu (Tab named Play) it is possible to launch the career mode.
- Where do you want to begin your career? USGA/KORN FERRY TOUR/PGA TOUR
Does not matter which option I select I will get the same follow up question.
- Where will you play your amateur season? USGA/AUGUSTA/THE AMATEUR/ASIA PACIFIC/LATIN AMERICA?
Does not matter which option I select, if I double click one of the option it will load for a fraction of a section but then nothing happens.
From here the only option is to press A (Select, which does not work) and B (Back, and then I will return to the previous screen/question)
2. When selecting Career I am prompted with the Amateur Season Settings.
If I change any setting and press A (Apply changes) the software will state that the new settings is saved and then the software just freezes and there is no workaround, from here I need to kill the software from the task manager.
3. When I restart the game, I need to go through the game setup again since it is back to the default values. This takes like 5 minutes every time I start the game. Very frustrating.
4. My golfer is now level 30+ and after repairing the installation in the EA APP and the new update the challenges section is messed up.
Before the update I was able to progress and complete challenges.
After the update ALL challenges even the completed ones were locked????
After reinstalling and some additional gameplay I was able to get the challenges that i already completed back to normal.
But now instead, it is not possible to complete any of the challenges.
I can play them but they will not be completed.
Just 20 minutes ago I tried one of the more difficult player challenges and actually did an amazing job sinking 3 out of 5 shots from long range into the cup and all other criteria was met for the challenge but not even one star was given for that amazing performance.
We are 5 people in the family and pay for 4! EA subscriptions each month.
This release is just as bad as all the other recent EA releases which has dissapointed everyone in the family.
I am just so frustrated with the lack of responsibility from EA, selling software to users that in my opinion is not thouroghly tested and simply does not work.
Just look at the latest BF releases they are all messed up, hackers everywhere, instead of solving the problem, please introduce systems and gadgets that lets everyone see everyone at all times on the map. What a smart solution that really creates a fun and competitive game!???
And the users are now paying alot of money for early access, monthly subscription services, add-ons, loot boxes etc. And when a user has spent their hard earned money and have taken time off work to enjoy the software - they have to put down thousands of hours solving issues and reporting them back to the EA developers so the games actually can be played at all?
Refund not only money spent on games that do not work - but also the time users spent solving the EA issues, server downtimes etc.
Class action lawsuit - anyone intrested?
