PGA TOUR 2023 - Corrupt Error Code 10
And yet again, the game has crashed. Upon restart, Error Code 10. This results in a complete loss of Career Mode stats, as well as being unable to Manage Player, which is where Error Code 10 is shown. I'm sure the game gets interesting as you advance in Career Mode, however, at this rate I'll never know. Saving progress after each hole is great, so long as the application gracefully exits. If the application crashes, this saved progress is useless, as there is no way to recover to that point and you start from scratch, yet again.
1. What are the options to recover from Error Code 10?
2. Are there key folder locations to "backup", so that if there is an application crash you can copy those folders/files back and pickup where you left off?
Thanks for the additional info, Since we are still seeing the error the saved data could have been corrupted due to multiple reasons.
We can try the following if you have not already.
Spoiler- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
