If you read the 'solution' you'll see it is stated that this was just marked as such 'for visibility' i.e. so that this particular post could be found easily:

I know this is not the most elegant way of doing things but it is common given the limitations of this forum. It does not mean the issue is no longer considered in need of fixing, which it is.

How is this kind of champion hair-splitting and robust Devil's advocacy meant to help lol. Put another way: thanks for nothing.

I explained the situation to you since you had, not unreasonably, apparently misunderstood.

I've tried that solution and it does not work, I am still having the issue of audio settings not saving on ps5, please address and fix this issue that many of us gamers are suffering with

This doesn't seem like a major fix so am wondering why it hasn't been addressed yet.

I get the feeling that the game devs prefer to release fewer, larger updates rather than lots of little ones. Let's see if it get's fixed next week...

Just keeping this on the radar as I'm not sure if this is a concern to them.

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure, I play a custom SIM like setting with SWING METER-off, SHOT SHAPING-off, ZOOM-on, PUTTING GREEN-on, and ELEVATION-off. My PUTTING METER in the visual settings also seems to continually reset to ON , and is not saving. On a side note, rather than having the ZOOM available from 70 yards from the pin. A 50 yard circle from where the character is would have been much better. There are times when you are out of position where it would be advantageous to be able zoom out to pick a target to hit to.
What happens when the bug occurs? Settings are reset
What do you expect to see? Settings to be respected when saved.
