PGA Tour PS5 - Local multiplayer controllers randomly change

Summarize your bug When playing a local multiplayer stroke game with 2 controllers and using 2 tour pros, the controllers switched which player was controlling which player randomly on the 4th hole of Augusta. Continued to play as the other player and then it reverted back to the proper controller after the following shots. Closed the game and began another multiplayer stroke with same golfers (speith and dj) had the same issue only the controllers switched players after the 1st hole
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Quick play Stroke Augusta - all 18 Select spieth Added dj Play round
What happens when the bug occurs? On the tee on hole 4 -my controller was operating dj while I started the round with spieth. My buddy’s controller was operating spieth when it should be dj. So it switched Reset game - same settings - switched controlling players while on the green on hole 1. In the middle of the hole. Putted out as the opposite players and on the tee at hole 2 it reverted back.
What do you expect to see? I would like to play the whole round with my controller. Or at least have a controller option to switch it back There are no player 1 - controller 1, player 2 - controller 2 options

When playing quick play with my friend using 2 controllers for PS5, the game randomly switches the player for each controller. Therefore, we have to swap controllers often so we can play with the golfer we selected. I'm not sure why it's happening because it is really random when the golfers/controllers are swapped. I used my account and a guest account (through the ps5 login) to try to see if that worked and it still is happening.

Yeah needs to be fixed. Playing with two people and having the controllers constantly switch is beyond annoying.

Yer, witnessed this today when playing with a couple of mates. I thought maybe it was down to if someone pressed a button on the controller first, but it didnt seem to be the case. Also was not happy that I couldn't use my career character and have my mates use there's even though all have logins on same ps5 with game data in sync from playstation cloud. Maybe there is a method for this.

Road to masters golf keeps.switchin controllers when playing friend and swing is terrible.compared to rory mcilroy un accurate no control.over it

I am using an Xbox Series S and encountering the same issue myself. No other games with my Xbox exhibit this issue.

This needs to be fixed. The whole point of gaming with friends is the multiplayer. I can't even have the other golfers I create be player 2 or player 3. Fix this please, this was in mcalroy why is this missing?!

@H7ena Yer it's a letdown, great game from what I have been playing so far, this aspect does let it down, hopefully EA listen and resolve this hajor overlooked area, thinking everyone only ever plays online
