From the EA app- Click the run button for PGA tour - EA app minimizes or closes- brief black windowed box- that windowed box closes (can't see anything at all on it, just black screen in window)- Then EA app either opens or comes back from minimize ( I can tell which )Tried all the basics and the avatar thing etc.. still no luck getting to anything.I can see the PGA tour icon in Task Manager for a second then it closes. Has anyonehad this and solved it?

@eddiek1966 Thanks for getting back to me. Try creating a new Windows user account with admin rights. Then, try launching the game again.

TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN....I BOUGHT PGA 2K25 BUT I CANT GET THE STUPID EMAIL CODE TO VERIFY THAT I CAN PLAY....SOMEONE HELP

I found a resolution for me, maybe this will help others. Same issue here, start the game, small window opens in the upper left of the screen but shortly it flashes up full screen and then minimizes. Won’t stay “up” if I try to maximize it. Running Win 10 with a Nvidia 3060 card. I set up compatibility mode to Windows 8, and run as an administrator. . .no change. Then it hit me, maybe it’s a resolution setting. Lowered display setting to 2560 x 1440 and tried to launch the game. It worked! Have been playing it for 3 days this way and no issues at all. Maybe this will work for others. 🤞🏼

Alright, figured out a fix for me. I had to uninstall the EA app, then reinstall. After that, I launched the EA app and launched the game from there, rather than from steam.

I'm also running into this issue. The game launched for me fine until about 2 days ago. Now I can't get it to launch. Very, VERY frustrating.

I have this issue as well and have done all that's been suggested with the previous correspondent regarding running both apps as administrator, setting up new Windows user and running that as administrator as well. The game still won't launch,. Sorry, but this is really, really, really, REALLY unacceptable. If this game was on a Mac I doubt I'd be having these issues. Not even close to being good enough.

Just bought this game. PC, Windows 11, EA app, Game will not start. EA app just comes back on, and the game never starts. The program launcher has a problem and needs to be fixed ASAP.

I am trying to play PGA Tour on my PS5 - so signing in as admin & playing as Admin ...
This "fix" doesn't work.
I've tried creating a new account and nothing works. I cannot play this incredible game (had all the previous versions, BTW).
I cannot believe this! I can't play offline since my account isn't verified. No account can be verified. I've tried old and new email addresses.
What now - just keep playing 2K23?
And check back in a few months, or whenever you guys get this issue resolved?
