Positive Features of Different EA Golf Games to Make Better Iteration
I have played many different EA Golf Games starting with Tiger Woods 2002. I wanted to list out positive features of different EA Golf game to give better ideas for next iteration.
Here are awesome features of TW07 to TW14.
1) Weather and Wind Options. Players can select sunny, cloudy, light rain or steady rain for weather. Players can also select wind speeds from calm to windy. These options can minimize the effect of RNG.
2) Photo Game Face!!!!! I wished current game has this one. EA discontinued before next gen consoles became available. WWE 2K22/2K23 made a photo face editor for next gen consoles that made an accurate representation of celebrities like Ana De Armas.
3) Flagstick Select Options (Easy, Medium, Hard).
4) The amount of attributes is not limited to level 60. Players can fully level up golfers in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 to 2014.
5) Ability to select players with similar skill level where you can filter out online players you want to play with based on level.
6) You have the option to select a shot clock in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 to 2014 to speed up the game; the options are between 30 - 60 seconds.
7) There is a large selection of clothing for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2012 to 2014. Glasses were available, pants and cowboy boots for women were available, and even a Panama Hat was available. It would have been better if a plethora of clothing for Men and Women are available in current game.
8) All Specs and clothing are available in store.
9) Metric System and Imperial Units are available.
10) Robust 3-click system.
11) Voice options for created golfer.
12) Diagonal Swing (TW14 only)
TW02 to TW06 have similar features to TW07 to TW14 except for gameface and voice options. Even though the features from TW are not available, Rory PGA Tour has an interactive approach with the Caddie. The current EA PGA Tour's biggest positive is its superior graphics. Features not available in any EA Golf Game are control options for RNG and Lipout Physics. Features available in other EA Games but not in EA Gold Games are sliders.
If all these features can be combined in a single iteration, the next EA Golf game could totally rock. Those are the only features that come to mind. If anyone has ideas for additional features feel free to post.
