The lip outs are clearly broken despite it being a new toy for you or not. You’re probably one of these tour or sim elite neck-beards crying to make it harder for everyone anyway and ruining the game for others in the process. Am I wrong?
I’ve been playing Tiger since 2006, I’m an expert on this topic. Its’s not a matter of taste, but of functionality.
Additionally, the ball logic on putting has been broken on this update. I bet it has something to do with the new code for lip outs.
EA, please revert whatever you did. Putting simply is not as it was before the 3.0 update.

What a ridiculous thing to cite time played as expertise on a topic or subject.
Describe your issue, I think the new mechanic is closer to real life then before where I made 99% of my putts within 10-15 feet.
I have noticed a few times where I felt I was screwed over when I believed it should have dropped but for the most part I welcome the change as lip-outs and burned edges are very common IRL.

@SneaklerIt is not common AT ALL for a ball barely rolling to roll right through the center of the cup. I agree the cup was very receptive, but you don't come in after everyone has learned the game building up for weeks and COMPLETELY change the cup physics. Also, ball lips backwards in regards to physics. It's broken. Next are they gonna change the swing mechanics, wind effects, elevation, lies, percentages?

The videos that Agent Putt shared where it appears the ball rolls directly over the cup...or close to it...those are the ones that are ridiculous.
I just can't help myself someone saying I PLAYED THIS SINCE 2006 CHANGE IT BACK and doesn't even clarify their issue or provide examples.
That is the definition of a low-effort post.- @Sneakler When you break a game, the easiest thing is to quickly reverse it back. I absolutely calls for it. If they wanna try again and slightly tweak it later then ok. EA has done this in the past. 2014 when they broke the online bags reverting to new clubs after every game. they never fixed it and left this ridiculous glitch. We found a workaround but shouldn't they have fixed it immediately?
- @iglooman__TW I play this game at a top 1% level and I was banging in putts with extra speed and I loved it...couldn't miss it was so easy I'm not special.
They took it away...im kinda liking it. If these ridiculous examples didn't happen do you like the addition of the new mechanics overall with there being lip-outs?- @Sneakler No, when you lose your lead in a very tightly contested online match due to a ridiculous center cup putt that would have rolled 1 foot past the hole if the hole wasn't there, you'll understand.
