If so can you try some of the steps other community members have mentioned in this thread and let us know if the issue continues?
EA Staff (Retired)@EA_Illium Desktop. Initially, I had all sorts of stuff open like browser tabs and youtube etc. Since the onset of issues, I now close every possible thing, even any tasks I can in the background, as well as the nvidia recording overlay. Id disable the EA overlay, but I play this game mostly with friends, and I need the EA overlay to be invited into private matches. Furthermore, while definitely not the only cause, the error will immediately occur sometimes when I alt+tab the game. I have multiple monitors, if that has any bearing.
(May 27) I've unfortunately crashed out of my second attempt at the Sim-Seasonal, maxing out my attempts. Is there any way I can have them reset, or is it just tough luck?
Ive had the same issue, sometimes it doesn't happen all night. Other days, like today, I'm shoveling coins in the trash from all the crashes. I've done all these ridiculous suggestions, high settings, low settings, it doesn't matter...sometimes it's when the ball is in flight, but usually it's in between holes.
At this point, the game is unplayable for me
If I had to guess, maybe it's because I have to have epic games and the ea app running in the background in order to jut play the game? Maybe all the pretty stuff that keeps constantly loading in the app stores?

However, I wanted to check do you have XMP enabled on your desktop by chance?
I have tried it both ways XMP on and off. It is possible that at the moment I have it enabled still.
Was hoping the patch fixed this issue, but within 3 holes the game froze. Great game, but unplayable for me until this DirectX error gets fixed.
