Tried that before and nothing appeared to have changed.
Just tried it again and now it shows to be on my preferred GPU.

Hi @Mootill2, To confirm what indicator are you seeing that shows it defaulting back to the intel graphics over the nvidia GPU?
Also to check what model device are you using? - Mootill22 years agoRising Rookie
When I open the task manager and look at the processes tab, it shows me what GPU is in use there.
But I noticed that it was "flip flopping" between the two during gameplay.
I don't understand what you mean by "model device".

Hey @Mootill2
Apologies, what type device (make/model) are you playing on? I was curious because in some cases, for ex. If you have a laptop without specified hardware will still run your integrated graphics on some level and some often try switching to save power which may be causing hiccups in performance.
Also to confirm, do you notice it flip flopping because your system resources change in Task Manager or due to performance changes? Within PGA Tour settings you can't set a specific GPU and I wanted to check how you saw the change.

i am running an MSI GF75 Thin 10SCSXR laptop.
I have my power option set to "Ultimate Performance".
I still see it flip flopping between the two GPU's, but setting the preferred card in Windows solved my Augusta issue (crashing after completing 6th hole).

Hi @Mootill2, Have you tried with Nvidia software (Control panel, Geforce Experience, or the new Nvidia app) to set the game to run with your 1650? - Mootill22 years agoRising Rookie
Yes, I have tried that also.

@EA_Illium here ya go
FWIW, I don't experience the crashing every time like I did. It's probably 1 out of 4 times now. Much less than it was before.

Hi @Mootill2, to confirm if you check for Driver updates for the 1660TI does it show if you have any?
The DXdiag show the driver date as 02/29/2024 but I believe they had one release on April 2nd. - Mootill22 years agoRising Rookie
It did show an updated driver which I was unaware of since I don't have GeForce Experience running in the background.
I installed the update, and will post back here if I have any further crashing issues with Augusta.

Have not had a chance to get back to Augusta to see if it still crashes.
Soon as I can get to play a few rounds, I'll let you know if the crashing is persisting.
