Re: Preorder not working

@ExtremeGamerSB I think they are just blowing us off. I filed a claim/case (whatever) with them on April 10. They sent me a quick follow up email telling me that someone would be in touch with me shortly, then I heard nothing from them. On Tuesday of this week, they sent another email asking if the situation still needed to be addressed. When I logged in to review my case, they had classified it as resolved and closed it. I reopened the case, and asked them for a suitable replacement if the preorder bonus items aren't available. Like at this point, give me the stupid putter and some coins and call it good.

  • @GoHuskerz yep. Same here.  I’m done with it. The customer service has been so bad. I’ve advised everyone to avoid preordering games from

    EA. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth.

    @ExtremeGamerSB EA emailed me back with detailed instructions on how to contact them via live chat for help. I followed the directions and there's no link for a live chat, only the same email only option. I think I've sent them the same emailed summary 8 times now. This is just a waste of time.
  • EA Support just closed my issue and said to contact Best Buy. This is hysterically bad customer service.

    @ExtremeGamerSB Yes, it was a colossal waste of time. Last week, I had four different people from EA email me. All of them said the same thing, "Since we can't see the financial transaction you made with Best Buy, there is nothing we can do. You must contact Best Buy for the code." Keep in mind, each time I emailed EA about the preorder issue, I attached copies of my receipts and told them the Best Buy was playing stupid, claiming there wasn't a preorder bonus for the game.

    Lesson leaned, I'll never preorder another game from Best Buy, and I highly doubt I'd preorder another EA game in general.

    Hilarious. Same exact thing for me. Four different people all starting with “I’m going to help you” then all 4 telling me to contact Best Buy after I had said numerous times I’ve contacted them and exhausted all efforts with them. Can’t believe EA wouldn’t remotely work with any of us. Shame.
