How hard is it for you guys to get a GOLF GAME RIGHT? When have you ever seen more then 4 players in a group of golf?Where in the game of golf does everyone stand on a tee at once and all hit off the same time?Answer NOWHERE ANYWHERE ANYTIME!Ditch the stupid 2-16 players and let 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 players play a proper stroke game like EVERY OTHER GOLF GAME EVERY CREATED . This was supposed to be done on the first update post game release.CLEARLY CALENDARS AND DATES ARE ABOVE YOUR PAY GRADE EA SPORTS!!!!

@yusd25 If you're going to the Online lobby for your little buddy matches, you're in the wrong section - Online is meant to be competitive, which is why there's a leaderboard and the point system is geared towards large lobbies. If you want your friendly foursomes, stick to the Private Match section and do what you want.

To be honest I have no idea what @yusd25 is talking about, and I'm as old as dirt.But I will say EA has not provided a good environment to enjoy matches with a group of friends. Not only have they not allowed you to create a custom environment, but you are limited in what formats are even available to play.It would be nice to be able to choose the settings for your room, as well as limit the skill points for the players.

REMOVE 2-16 PLAYERS STROKE GAMES FORMATE , CHANGE IT TO 1-4 PLAYERS PLAYING SHOT

@yusd25 Yeah it's sad when features that have been in golf games for 20+ years (including EA's past golf titles) are somehow too hard to figure out how to do in 2023.
Most people want Turn Based 2-4 player but EA can't or won't do it.

@yusd25No thanks. The current points for the stroke leaderboard favors large lobbies. Having 16 players is great for the h2h competitive side but unfortunately, that rarely happens any more. It's typically 3-5 nowadays.

I get your gripe though - for devs that could figure out how to make the h2h Ryder Cup make it seem like you were competing against the opposite side (Euro v USA) when your partner was actually from the opposite side (notice the 3 obviously USA people matched up in the alt shot and one was your Euro team mate?) they can't figure out the small stuff like best ball or adding the Y button to FF your shot. Doing away with large lobbies would be a step backward.

On line h2h ranked is what will give the game longevity.

I love turn order and much prefer it over stroke simultaneous
However due to how popular stroke simultaneous is (Sometimes I get into matches with more than 10 players) it would diverse the player base if this was implemented in Ranked
Id LOVE to see Turn based Stroke play in private matches. Hopefully that will come in a future update

All EA really needs to do is give you a button to toggle you to the player furthest from the pin and a zoom feature. I don't need to see what the player is seeing... and I think most of us could implement turn based on our own if we wanted. EA just doesn't provide an easy way to watch the player whose turn is up.

Nailed it!
The only issue I have with the private lobbies is that it doesn't allow you to fully control the settings for the room. You are limited to the poorly configured presets.
It would be nice to be able to control each option for gameplay and graphics, as well as limit the max number of skill points allowed for the avatar.
